Craftswomen from native Shipibo communities of Honoria will participate in EXPOAMAZÓNICA 2023

We provide technical assistance to about 20 artisans from the native communities of the district of Honoria (Dos Unidos and Nueva Alianza of the province of Puerto Inca), on the use of tools for textile production, in order to improve the designs and artisan techniques in their products.

The Sub-Directorate of Crafts of the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism programmed this activity aimed at the association of craftsmen of the native community in order to improve their capacities in the use of sewing machines straight, riveting, coating and embroidery.

In this way it seeks to strengthen the competitiveness of the enterprises of the artisans who reside there to improve their products and to make known this cultural offer to the world.
